    could you show me how to program a “type a ‘a’/letter — then the program capture the ‘a’/key and then run a function or print a word [ apple]

    Can you explain what you’re trying to do a bit more? It’s quite ready to capture a key press using pygame, and I think the turtle module has the same sort of functionality. It’s not quite so simple in a console application.

    I mean – outside a turtle situation, a key press e.g. ‘a’ causes the letter a word to be printed e.g. apple.

    By the way, is it possible for a dictionary to be used to invoke a function, using the value as a function holder?
